Universal TCP/IP Network Bootdisk
http://www.netbootdisk.com/

Welcome!
The Universal TCP/IP Network Bootdisk is a DOS bootdisk that provides TCP/IP networking support. It's designed for use in Microsoft networking environments, on either peer-to-peer or domain based LANs. Currently 85 different network card drivers all included, all on the single 1.44MB disk!

Most people use this bootdisk for "Ghosting" PC's over a network connection. This disk will provide the DOS networking and drivers to allow the mapping of a network drive containing your imaging software and files. TCP/IP based image transfers, like GhostCast is also supported. About the Disk, Feature List...

Can't resolve server names from DOS? - Sunday, 21st August 2005
I've had many emails in the past from people saying they haven't been able to get the bootdisk to resolve the name of their server when attempting to map network drives. Often it's been WINS, or non 8.3 filename (server name) related, or other times It's remained a bit of a mystery - Until now!

Recently, I'd starting removing the legacy "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" option on a network at work, in the Windows 2000 Server that my own disk maps to for running Ghost. And surprise surprise, after it was disabled, the bootdisk presented the classic issue of not being able to map drives!

So moral of the story: "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" must be enabled on any Server(s) you are planning to map drives to. I also found I had to have it enabled on my GhostCast Server box as well. (You can find this setting under Advanced TCP/IP Properties for your Server's LAN card)
